Closet Treats

Trey Leger has spent a lifetime of battling mental illness and the imaginary demons from his childhood. Even now, years later and with a growing family, he still can’t walk past an open, darkened closet without seeing...it. The shadowy silhouette. The burning emerald eyes. The Closet Man.

Now, there's a new ice cream truck roaming the neighborhood and Trey believes its driver is a monster. While the neighborhood children see a friendly man serving the treats, Trey sees a frightful demon behind the wheel. With burning yellow eyes. The Ice Cream Man.

But is this real, or just another symptom of his ever-present struggles with balancing his medications? While battling his growing uncertainty of reality, Trey investigates to determine if the creature is merely a symptom of his mental illness...or something far more terrifying.

Nominated for the 2011 Parsec Award Best Novel, Closet Treats is filled with harrowing imagery and monstrous dread.
