They say “good things come to those who wait.” And after all the time it’s taken to put this book together, I know it’s true.

We at Shadowpublications.com have been working on this book for a long time. In November 2014, we released Legends of Garaaga on Amazon.com. Less than a year later, we’re finally publishing its companion: Daemons of Garaaga.

Essay–Donating The Hair

It’s 2015. I hadn’t had my hair cut since 2012. It was time.
See, one of the few things I do well is grow hair. Lots and lots of hair. As a kid, I always wanted long hair. I’m sure it has something to do with all those 70s rock icons I worshipped. Or maybe it has to do with standing out from the rest of the men around me. Or maybe, it’s just because I like long hair. Period.
Psychological reasons aside, I wasn’t allowed to grow my hair very long in high school. When I got to college, I fixed that post-haste. I grew it long. Well, long for me anyway. It was way past my shoulders when I got a part in a play I really really wanted to be in. But there was no way I could play the part with long hair. So what did I do? Cut it. Damned short.

Essay–Flames and Summer

Last night, I started working on Flames again. Doing my best to finish this novel. For some reason, it’s getting in the way of Outbreak, so I might as well just get it done.
One thing that may have kept this book from being finished earlier in May was the change in the weather. Flames is set during an outrageous heatwave/drought in Texas. Cover Reveal–Mimes

Mimes-01-FrontHere we are, Fiendlings. The cover for the “Mimes” ebook. This is the first in a collection we’re calling “Dark Recesses.” Stories from this collection focus on creepy environments, nasty monsters, and terrible human beings. In other words: it’s a shadowpublications.com kind of thing.
Scott Pond worked like the devil to put this one together. And he did a hell of a job. I can’t wait to see what he does for the second tale in the collection, “Lamashtu,” which will drop in the future.
You’ll be able to pre-order this ebook on July 5th, 2015 from Amazon.com. I’ll post links as soon as we have them.
Have a great weekend, Fiendlings.
